Inspiration for this dress came from envisioning a wide neckline baring a beautiful decolletage. Also running around in my head was a whisper of lace underneath a semi-full skirt of tulle fanning out in a generous train.

The MISSY Dress is a throwback to early 20th Century femininity. Dripping in Chantilly lace, this silk shantung slip dress is wrapped in a double tier of tulle apron and bordered in lace. Covered buttons line the back of the dress. Lined in soft silk charmeuse.
I loved creating Rose of Sharon because it has so much drama going on. It starts out simple: a silk taffeta strapless sheath. Add a hook-on/off tulle over skirt trimmed with silk roses and embroidered sash belt. Inside bodice has a boned corset and is lined in silk habotai.
