I wanted to create a whimsical wreath for the Spring ~ fun and flowery was my goal. I decided to use (faux) Forsythia branches. Similar to my faux centerpieces, I cut and separated the branches, then started to weave them through the wreath and used floral wire to secure.
For the ceremony table we created this long and low trailing design of tulips, iris and freesia with natural country style foliages. A design also very suitable for top tables and fireplaces/mantlepieces.
Here is a sneak peek at a wedding I did a few weeks ago in a tipi. The wedding was set in a field by the river Thames and the flowers had to reflect the natural ‘meadowy’ setting. Tall silver candelabra were decorated with flowing arrangements of ammi majus, snapdragons, thlaspi and trailing asparagus fern. The top table was generously decorated with a trailing garland and tall pillar candles.
