Country-Style, Colourful South African Wedding ♥ Anneke and Gideon, both South African doctors, met during their community service year in Kimberley. Gideon proposed on a private game reserve outside Barkley West at a candle light dinner in the middle of the bush and the pair decided to tie the knot at the beautiful Nooitgedacht wine estate.
Whitney + Ross live in New York City and planned an amazing belated honeymoon/first anniversary trip to South Africa. One of my dream destinations has always been Africa, so when I saw this elopement in South Africa's Kruger National Park, my heart skipped more than a couple of beats. Samantha and Adam married with only their photographers, Feather and Stone (who are now living in Africa themselves!), their officiant, and a dozen singing and dancing locals nearby.
A mint and coral wedding palette can do no wrong in my books - such a fresh, modern, playful and feminine combination! Plus, which bride doesn't look great in a cute coral coloured lipstick? Of course, when you're as easy on the eye as today's bride, Chené, I think pretty much anything would look great on you.

This wedding is absolutely nothing short of relaxed, intimate perfection. Sam and Garth chose to wed each other on a rose farm (have you ever heard of a more perfect venue?), and corralled their family and friends for crafting projects that knocked their big day right out of the park.
You know, if I hadn't actually given blood the other day and seen it for myself, I would swear sometimes that glitter flowed through my veins. Show me something sparkly, and I am SOLD. And one of the things I love best is gold glitter against a stark monochrome background.

Wellington ♥ ♥ ♥ Cape Town couple, Hennie and Leani celebrated their vows in a fun, quirky, relaxed and colourful wedding bash! Their wedding day was a complete reflection of their personalities - they longed for an informal celebration, where everyone could let their hair down, kick off their heels and have a great party!
Beautifully decorated wedding cake pops in pink, white, adorned with a sugar rose.
I just cannot get over how drop dead gorgeous today's South African bride, Siza is! I think I am officially obsessed with her style. Starting with her bridesmaids in soft, flowing, pink gowns, to her choice of convertible mermaid-style Estelle Visser wedding gownwith detachable ball gown skirt and its lace details, right through to her spectacular hairstyle.
Terri and Brad had a woodland themed wedding in - surprisingly - a woodland! The venue for both their ceremony and reception was the Pecanwood Estate. "We wanted our wedding to be casual and symbolise the reason for celebrating the day, which was our love for each other", explained Terri. "Our budget was small and wanted to utilise things that we already had or things that we could make out of wood or paper keep it simple. The theme was based around swallows because they symbolise our love for each other. The day before Brad proposed to me we were at a tattoo convention in Cape Town and he suggested we get matching swallow tattoos. Swallows choose a mate for life, and will only nest with that bird and no other, we had them placed on his hand and my wrist as if they were flying into each other."

If you're a fan of succulents and babys breath then you've come to the right place. You're going to love the contrast between the soft, blush colours and the hardy, rustic succulents in Mieke and Rick's simple, but beautifully elegant, South African Wedding.
We are loving the vintage-inspired DIY details, burlap decor and fabric flowers, and lovely farm venue at this South African wedding. But when you see the bride's multi-layered, multicolored dress, you'll feel right tingly in all the right ways. Add in some mini dinosaurs, fire dancing, and a really gorgeous grey cake, and you'll be on board just like us.

Afternoon lovely ones! I have such a pretty engagement shoot to share with you, from a group of the loveliest wedding pros based in KZN, including photographer Tanya Jacobs and stylist Jana Vorster. When Tanya sent over Gareth and Natalie's pics, I was struck by how much more than a couple shoot was - in fact, it was also a beautiful gift for a treasured friend.
Here we have a beautiful set of African waist bead jewelry. These waist beads were created using hundreds of beautiful & authentic African beads.
I'm not sure there is a wedding backdrop more beautiful than the plains of South Africa. And when Ulrike and Dirk started to plan their September wedding they knew that a farm backdrop was perfect for them. "We decided to have a farm theme seeing as our wedding was held at a farm". began the bride. "I was infatuated with the idea of a barn wedding."
