2014 Wedding Cake Trends #7 Dessert Tables | Bridal Musings

It's time to shed a tear. (And a tier).
A delicious sugar-laced tier. Because our foray into the world of wedding cakes has come to an end.
Over the last few months the marvellous Jaclyn Campbell of Ivory & Rose Cake Company has guided us through the Biggest Wedding Cake Trends of 2014.
We've been tickled by texture, swooned by naked, bowled-over by buttercream, and lured in by metallics.
But unfortunately all good things must come to an end. Especially wedding cake.
And what an end it is - Our resident cakexpert, Jaclyn is going out in style.
We're not talking just one wedding cake, this week, we're talking whole tables of them.
Yum.
So for the last time, (*sob*) forks at the ready... Take it away Jaclyn!
Dessert Tables
Did you know you are able to have different flavour tiers in a wedding cake? This can, on occasion make choosing only a few flavours tricky, which makes the dessert table a fantastic choice. And you don't have to limit yourself only to cake. Why not include macaroons, cake pops, meringues and French petit fours to give your guests a lot more yummy choice? Really make your dessert table stand out by having beautiful linen, different cake stands, flowers and lovely crockery, plus any other wedding décor you might be using, like bunting or paper tassel garland. You will please absolutely every guest with all the fun goodies you can include on a dessert table.Colour Co-ordinate
