Day of The Dead - A Mexican Styled Wedding Shoot

Day of The Dead - A Mexican Styled Wedding Shoot

via

Afternoon Lovely Peeps,

We have an absolutely epic styled shoot to share with you today. Put together by the amazing Erica of Mr and Mrs Unique and featuring some of our favourite suppliers such as the awesome Wilden Bride (she made my wedding dress don't you know) and the very cool We Heart Pictures, this shoot is just full of so much alternative wedding pretty that I have been swooning over the pictures all morning!

Erica has such a talent for pulling together the industries most creative wedding suppliers to curate shoots that not only look beautiful but also showcase the very best of what the British wedding industry has to offer. Quite often I find myself looking up the suppliers involved in her shoots just because what they have created is so gorgeous and inspiring. I have no doubt in my mind that after looking through this amazing Frida Kahlo Mexican shoot, you will be doing the same. I mean just look at that floral headdress - it's stunning.

Erica talks us through the shoot.....

I run a wedding directory Mr & Mrs Unique that focuses on unique, eclectic and creative wedding suppliers. Throughout the year I try to get together with a selection of listed suppliers to create photo shoots, as it gives us the opportunity to experiment and spread our creative wings. I encourage suppliers to push their boundaries... as long as its not traditional, anything goes!

Towards the end of last year I met up with the lovely Katherine who owns Arabian Tents and we decided to get our heads together to create a photo shoot that included some of her new Latin American marquees, which were heavily inspired by Mexican and Argentinian influenecs.
Literally a few weeks later I was speaking to Natasha from Nevie-Pie Cakes and she wanted to create a Day of the Dead inspired wedding cake... so along with Arabian Tents new marquee interiors we had the perfect union for a Mexican Day of the Dead/ Frida Kahlo inspired shoot.

With amazing photography skills from Hector & Charlie from We Heart Picture, some lush OTT flowers from The Basement Florist, beautiful make up by The Beauty Aisle, gorgeous hair by Simply Beautiful Wedding Hair, floral stationery from Russet & Gray, some eye catching gems from Polly Wales Fine Jewellery, bright textiles from Montes & Clark, not forgetting the two amazing dresses from Wilden Bride and Minna... we had an incredible team working on the shoot!
